Every family has a story to tell….

You’ve heard us say it probably a thousand times, every family is unique. We say it because it’s a fundamental belief. Yes, of course we are a portrait studio. That’s kinda obvious. But we’re more than that. 

One of our favorite partners is Main Line Fertility. They are a natural partner for several reasons. They offer superior service every step of the way. They are about providing individualized care, they are truly about the client experience,  that totally feels like what we do. So many of our clients are also Main Line Fertility clients, we love when they share their amazing journey with us. It felt super natural to partner with Main Line Fertility and offer Meet The Doctor Events. If you haven’t heard about the events, it gives Main Line Fertility patients the opportunity to meet the doctor who helped them through their fertility journey.

It was at one of these events that the real impact became clear. One client was talking about the stigma that comes with infertility and how that’s changed over the last few years. She believed that events like Meet The Doctor helped to remove the stigma. When we started these events about half the clients requested we not post their images to social media. During the last event every person was ok with posting. In fact, they reposted and shared the images and events as a way to showcase their journey. 

Yes, we’re a family portrait studio, but it’s bigger than that.  It’s about creating a culture of inclusion within our community.  That’s why I’m particularly proud of our partnership with Gays with Kids. In chatting with one of our Dads, he said that he hadn’t had a family portrait done in too long because his last experience wasn’t good and he wouldn’t subject his family to that again. That’s simply unacceptable. Every family deserves a place where their family connection can be captured. We’re excited to be hosting an event May 4^th in partnership with Gays with Kids! I fundamentally believe that no two families look alike, every family is unique. Their origin story, how each member intertwines and is connected. We’re capturing those stories, those memories, the very essence of a family.
