We believe everyone should eat cake, always. But it's especially cute when you can do it with your fingers and toes. Our cake smash sessions always include the whole family with the cake smash at the end!
We embrace a kid-led philosophy in our studios. We know children thrive in nurturing, child-initiated play-based environments and that in turn fosters self-confidence, trust, creativity, autonomy, and acceptance of individual differences. Kid-led just makes sense, so we take their lead. We let them set the pace, we let them express themselves and we let them have fun. It means you can relax, and we can get the images you want. We promise, we are only done with the session when we know we have the images!
Our cake smash sessions can last anywhere from 20 to 45 min. We have time to capture everyone together, individuals, siblings and then dig into the cake! You provide the cake but we make recommendations below!
We're always rocking multiple backgrounds - a simple ivory, something trending within the interior design world, an ethereal back lit look, whitewashed brick & a seasonal look. No need to choose, we'll use several during the session.

Philadelphia Family Photo Session
all the deets
1.You need to bring the cake (for allergy reasons, we do not provide), but we do recco it's a mini, 6" cake with white on white icing (dark colors look like poo). Have the bakery use cupcake icing, it's softer for little fingers to dig into.
2. Never book during naptime, it never ends well!
3. Bring an extra set of clothes, diaper cover and wash cloth, fingers crossed they get messy!
4. Digital Images are delivered within two weeks of date ordered, so book accordingly if you want them in time for the 1st birthday party or if you want them on the first birthday!

We offer a la carte pricing, but have also created Collections based on our top selling items! Product is always sold in addition to the session fee and is always the same price, regardless of the session type.
We have a time proven process that makes it easy for a busy parent to quickly (think 15-45 min) select the images and how they want to preserve them - digital, album, custom framed or cards!
As a full service studio, we schedule an ordering meeting (via zoom), to review your images with you, you're no longer left to stew over a proof sheet on your own! Like everything else we do, we try to make ordering as easy as possible.
