Memories with your Kids: Hey there mama, this is me giving you permission to invest in what you love, memories with your kids. I know I’m not the only mom out there that’s left out of the photos. You all know, I’m not a photographer but I am my family’s photographer. I’m the one that takes all the pics, which inevitably means I’m not in any of the pics! Honestly, sometimes that’s best because when Nick does take a picture of me, it’s always of me mid blink, making some crazy expression, talking, or from a terrible angle.
That’s why I’m so passionate about Mother’s Day. Of course it’s perfect for full family, or just mommy and me sessions but the important part is that mom gets in the picture and looks amazing. We always make mama look great, but our Mother’s Day Sessions are designed to capture memories just for you! They are for you to make memories with your kids.
Full disclosure, dads don’t book portrait sessions for mamas. It’s not even on their radar. Not even a little. So if you want them to book you a Mother’s Day Session, you are going to have to send them the link (and the date/ time you want to book) or you can book it yourself. My vote, book your own Mother’s Day session. Yes, you deserve memories with your kids. As mamas we work so hard to create all these amazing memories, to keep all the sports and activities straight, to keep all the schoolwork in order, plus all the things like dinner, carpools, laundry, dishes, and the list goes on forever. But who’s making the memories for you? We are, Ivory Tree is doing the work so all you have to do is show up and enjoy the session!
This year, we’re feeling ethereal. It’s one of our signatures looks but this year we’ve adapted it for our Mother’s Day sessions and I’m kinda obsessed! We have these large pots filled with beautiful florals that give this beautiful texture which so beautifully contrasts the ethereal glow of the backlit window.
Ok here’s the bottom line, mama you deserve to be spoiled. You deserve to look amazing. You deserve to have amazing memories with your kids. You deserve all the things.
PS: Other ways to spoil mom!
