WABI-SABI is deeply rooted in Japan, meaning to embrace the beauty of imperfection. Wabi-Sabi means simplicity, humility and living in tune with nature. At Ivory Tree we translate that to simple, clean materials with deep texture and movement. Our way of bringing nature into the studio.
Wabi-Sabi refers to what happens with the passage of time, the beauty and authenticity of aging. This one touches our soul a little bit, the idea of watching our littles grow so quickly and wanting to capture that.
Our mini sessions can last anywhere from 20 to 45 min. We'll do individual images of each kid, full-family and siblings together, all the combos!
It’s with this idea of imperfection that we developed our Wabi-Sabi sessions. Our Wabi-Sabi sessions are designed to capture emotions with a simple, organic, hand-made, earthy vibe. Our holiday sessions are designed to capture that iconic, perfectly curated family. And we couldn’t love them more. But these sessions are designed to capture a different vibe, a relaxed, connected and imperfectly real session.
